With over a decade of experience in investment management and portfolio strategy, Mohd Irwan Wahed brings a wealth of expertise in managing diverse asset classes and delivering value-driven investment solutions. He joined PBSN in September 2021 and has since been instrumental in overseeing and enhancing fund performance across various mandates.Before joining PBSN, he served as a Portfolio Manager at UOB Asset Management Malaysia. In May 2018, he was entrusted to assume the primary equity portfolio manager role for the newly established UOB Islamic Asset Management, demonstrating his command over Islamic finance principles and equity markets.

His career in the securities industry began in 2009 as a Company Dealer with a Corporate Derivatives Desk. He subsequently advanced to Portfolio Manager at ASM Investment Bhd (now PMB Investment Bhd), where he managed nine-unit trust funds and corporate mandates. In 2016, he further honed his skill as a Fund Manager at Capital Dynamics Asset Management.Mohd Irwan Wahed holds a postgraduate qualification in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA and a professional certification in Islamic Finance from CISI. He also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia..He has been a holder of the Capital Markets Services Representative’s License in fund management in relation to portfolio management since 2013 and currently serves as the Designated Fund Manager for Amanah Saham Bank Simpanan Nasional, BSN Dana Al-Jadid, BSN Dana Dividen Al-Ifrah, BSN Dana Wakaf Al-Ikhlas, and BSN Dana Income Stream 1.
