Heddy Humaizi Hussain Chief Executive Officer / Executive Director

Before joining Permodalan BSN Berhad, Heddy Humaizi served as the Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Senior Vice President at Berjaya Mutual Berhad (formerly known as Inter-Pacific Asset Management Sdn Bhd) starting in July 2020. Prior to his tenure at Berjaya Mutual, Heddy held the position of Director of Institutional Sales and Marketing at Saturna Sdn Bhd.

At Saturna Sdn Bhd, he was also the Director of Institutional Sales & Marketing and Portfolio Manager for the global Sukuk funds. Heddy brings more than 28 years of expertise in the stockbroking and fund management industry throughout the local, regional and global markets. He began his career as a Junior Analyst at Innosabah Securities and rapidly advanced to become the Head of Retail Research at Maybank Investment Bank (formerly known as ASEAMBANKERS). He subsequently joined RHB Asset Management as the Head of Equity Research.

Heddy is also a recognized voice in the industry, having contributed to numerous business print and TV media outlets, including Star Bizweek and Media Prima, and serving as a guest speaker at various local and regional conferences. He holds the Securities Commission Malaysia’s CMSRL in fund management related to portfolio management and is also a registered UTC with the Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FiMM).
