Anti-Corruption Policy

ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY:

Permodalan BSN Berhad (“PBSN”) is committed to conduct its business dealing and / or activities with high ethical standards and integrity as well as to comply with the standards and the requirements of anti-corruption laws in the country.

PBSN’s Anti-Corruption Policy is issued based on the Guidelines on Adequate Procedures pursuant to subsection 17A(5) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Malaysia Act 2009 (“MACC Act”), which sets out the adequate procedures that a commercial organisation such as PBSN needs to have in place as a defence to a corporate liability charge under section 17A of the MACC Act. The Anti-Corruption Policy is applicable to all of its’ directors, employees and business associates of PBSN, which includes clients, outsourcing providers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, vendors, advisers, distributors, representatives, agents, investors and / or any third parties that have business dealings or relationships with PBSN.

PBSN has ZERO tolerance against all forms of bribery and corruption practices in all our business dealings and relationships. All directors and employees are required to avoid any activities that could lead to, or imply, a breach to the Anti-Corruption Policy as approved and adopted.

PBSN is responsible to conduct due diligence exercise, which may includes background checks, interview etc on any relevant parties or personnel (such as outsourcing providers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, vendors, advisers, distributors, representatives etc) prior to entering into any formalized business relationships.

PBSN will not hesitate to terminate any contracts and agreements with business associates (that are acting on behalf of PBSN) in the event that an act of corruption by a business associate has been proven to occur.
